Do I need a doctor’s referral before scheduling a visit?

Yes, before we are able to treat a patient, we do need to have a referral from a physician. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance with this process.

Are therapy services covered by my health insurance?

Yes, Comprehensive Rehab accepts Iowa Medicaid and Medicare plans as well as most insurance plans. Ask to speak with one of our Patient Accounts Representatives to determine details of your coverage regarding our services.

Am I restricted to where I seek therapy services?

A common misconception in therapy is that you are required to receive treatment at a certain facility. This is not so. You, as the patient, have the freedom to decide where you seek therapy services. We, at Comprehensive Rehab, strive to be your chosen therapy provider.

How do I determine if my child is developmentally delayed and could benefit from therapy services?

As parents, we often worry if our children are on track developmentally. If you think your child may be showing signs of a deficit, take advantage of our free screenings. Simply contact us and one of our caring professionals will screen your child and ease your mind.

I have been battling with intense pain. Could physical therapy help me?

What happens if I am sick on the day of my scheduled therapy appointment?

We are here to help you make progress toward your individual therapy goals. We understand that when you are sick, you cannot properly focus on your therapy sessions. If you are ill the day of your appointment, please contact us and we will assist you in rescheduling your appointment.

Can I sit in on my child’s therapy sessions?

Absolutely! We encourage all parents to be involved in their child’s therapy progress. If you are able to sit in on their visits, we welcome you to do so. We also offer an observation room where you can watch your child throughout their therapy session without them knowing you’re keeping an eye on them.

My injury prevents me from driving. How will I get to my therapy appointments?

We offer complimentary transportation for our patients who need it. Our skilled transportation assistants will get you to and from your therapy appointments safely. Contact us today to ask for more details.
